About Us

Our mission is to grow from a nonprofit organization to become the primary, reliable, formally recognized physician registry for the private physician specialty.

Letter From the President

To Fellow Members, Colleagues, and All,

My name is Dr. Gregory Koury, and I am honored and excited to serve as your President of the American College of Private Physicians (ACPP). The ACPP is experiencing a time of profound growth and renovation; we are an ever-expanding organization that strives to support private physicians in providing paramount care to their patients.

The ACPP is the professional society for private physicians in the fields of concierge medicine and direct primary care. Our mission is to grow from being a non-profit organization to become the primary, reliable, formally recognized physician registry for the private physician specialty, with goals of further growing this field of medicine through board certification and fellowship.

I want to thank the previous leadership of this organization who brought us together to be where we are today, and who created this organization from the ground up through their astounding commitment to our profession.

Revolutionary times are here for the ACPP; we have revised our Bylaws to be inclusive of all board-certified and board-eligible private physicians, we continuously establish goals for the growth of our organization, we have elected an almost entirely new and dedicated Board of Directors, and we are lead by an excellent Executive Director and management team.

I want to see members, the Board, and staff unify to encourage the success of private physicians, improve communications, motivate new physicians to begin their own private physician practices, and foster and protect the patient-physician relationship. It is imperative to support each other thus improving the quality of our patient care.

As your President, I want to be available to assist you at any time by phone call, text, or email. Please contact me with questions, ideas, concerns, or conversations, and I will be happy to talk with you.

I feel honored to be serving as your President of this outstanding organization. I encourage all members, the Board, and staff to work together to grow our profession and contribute to the success of the ACPP.

Thank you.

Our Mission

The ACPP wants to support established private physicians in their journey in providing concierge medicine and direct primary care to patients. We want to grow awareness of and encourage the private physician practice model to new physicians as well as seasoned physicians who may want to learn more about this style of practice. The ACPP promotes the collaboration of our member body, knowing that we are stronger together. Through our service network of vendor relationships, we can provide our members with paramount service lines to implement best practices into their workflows.

The ACPP is set on achieving our long-term goals:  we want to become the formally-recognized physician society and database for concierge and direct primary care physicians, and we intend on developing board certification and fellowship programs in the fields of concierge medicine and direct primary care.
